Explanation:〜くせに

Meaning
"〜という身分なのに / 〜という立場なのに"

"despite the fact that"
① Although similar to the expression "〜のに" which indicates a contrast, "〜のに" contains a feeling of dissatisfaction.
② "〜くせに" is also used when insulting or criticizing someone.
③ "くせして" is used in casual conversation.
④ It can also be used when teasing someone, as in "本当は嬉しいくせに" ("Even though you're actually happy").
