Explanation：〜てみせる

Meaning
① がんばって〜するつもりだ / 必ず〜する
Used to stress the speaker's strong determination / readiness to someone else.

② 相手がわかるように実際に〜して、見せる
Expresses the actual demonstration of an action in order to introduce or promote better understanding of something.

2. 相手がわかるように実際に〜して、見せる（demonstration）

カタカナの「ツ」と「シ」の違いがわからないと言うから、黒板に書いてみせた。
I showed him how to write "ツ" and "シ" in katakana on the blackboard because he said he couldn't tell them apart.

やり方がわからないので、一度やってみせてくれませんか。
I don't understand how to do it, so could you show me once?
