Explanation：〜ほど〜ない

Meaning
"A is not as ~ as B ."

Used to express that while A and B are about the same as ~, when compared, X is of a lower degree than Y.

The negative form is alway used.

トムさんはジェームスさんほど背せが高たかくない。
Tom is not as tall as James.

英語えいごは日本語にほんごほど難むずかしくない。
English is not as difficult as Japanese.

パソコンはスマホほど便利べんりじゃないと思います。
I think a computer is not as convenient as a smart phone.

日本の夏は私の国くにの夏なつほど暑あつくない。
Japanese summer is not as hot as my country’s.

昨日きのうは今日きょうほど忙いそがしくない。
It’s not not as busy today as it was yesterday.
