Meaning
"the more ~, the more ~" / "the less ~, the less ~ "
Used to indicate that as one condition becomes true or increases, the other condition also becomes more true or intense. It expresses a relationship between two factors where the extent or degree of one affects the other.

V（ba form）ば + V（dictionary form）+ ほど
