Meaning
"〜という身分なのに / 〜という立場なのに"

"despite the fact that"
Used to express criticism or dissatisfaction toward someone or something. It conveys a sense of contradiction, similar to saying "even though" or "despite the fact that" in English, but with a strong negative nuance. This phrase is often used when the speaker is annoyed or frustrated by the situation. It can also be used when teasing someone, as in "本当は嬉しいくせに" ("Even though you're actually happy").

・Although similar to the expression "〜のに" which indicates a contrast, "〜のに" contains a feeling of dissatisfaction.
